Hematoid quartz is a mix of quartz and hematite. It's also known as Fire Quartz. It's a relatively rare type of quartz, but it's found in many parts of the world. 

Hematoid quartz is opaque and comes in a variety of colors, ranging from pale yellow to deep red. The color of the crystal is influenced by the presence of iron. The color of the crystal indicates which chakra it's connected to.
