Shangaan Amethyst From Zimbabwe

Shangaan amethyst is a blend of amethyst, clear quartz, and smoky quartz. It's named after the Shangaan tribe of the Gezani Communal Land in Mateke, Zimbabwe. The crystals come from the Chibuku Mine, which is located in Zimbabwe near the border with Mozambique. 

Shangaan amethyst is a relatively new find, appearing on the commercial market in the last few years. It was discovered in 2019.

Shangaan amethyst is commonly found with red hematite inclusions. It can form with sceptres, elestials, and enhydros.
